Name: Yesha (the Forlorn) Halvandel
Age: 53
Race: Human
Deity: Saint Gabriel
Class: Sorcerer
Socail Class: Wanderer (Noble)
Appearance: Yesha appears as most old men, a long beard with a color akin to stone. He wears a long cloak that looks as if it had washed up from the ocean, a pale blue and quite weathered. His body has been marred in many places with scars that could be made by no blade.
Personality: Yesha is very loyal and always contemplating. Reason is his hand and his tong is his blade. Death has had a toll on his calm however. He is still level headed and slow to action yet he is unnaturally concerned about Verlorin and his well-being.
Equipment: Long Sword, Dagger, Staff, Cross Bow, Bolts (10)
Spells Known: Tier 1
Magic Missile
Glitterdust
Burning hands
Grease
Tier 2
Dispel Magic
Fireball
Ray of exhaustion
Tier 3
Lightning Volley
Background: Yesha spent his childhood in Udridge. He was cousin to the high king Almek and at the age of 12 was schooled in the ways of wizardry. Yesha was unnaturally gifted and was able to cast off of sight and memory of a spell, without using the books of his colleges. Because of his gift he was granted a military position at age 23 and led many combats. When he reached his 30th year he married his wife Garnielia and had 2 children, Cirnarus and Kadremond.
After the tragic death of his wife at age 47 he left the military with one of the best carrier records in history. During his next 6 years he traveled the lands renewing his soul and doing what good deeds he could along the way.
It was his 53 year of life he found his homeland under attack. He traveled back to Aremor to defend his Cousins lands in a war that threatened to break the power of the kingdom. When he arrived, he was told that the army had moved on Waldas and was being flanked so they had not yet arrived. Yesha waited at the foot of Evny River and stood upon the colossal stone bridge Telweh. If the army of the enemy planned an attack, they would have to do it from here.
Flags baring the cymbal of Tiran scoured the horizon. It was at this battle that he was given the name Yesha the Forlorn. Yesha held the front line alone for about and hour before the Aremor main army arrived on the top to the valley slope. Yesha then unlashed a volley of magic akin to no other decimating the advancing wave. A serge of magic as great as that in such a burst has a high toll however, namely, life.
Yesha was remembered as the man who held Telweh, the man who held back an army and toppled a third of it, leaving the rest in shambles. He was laid to rest in the hall of remembrance for his great valor.
!12 years latter following a burst of positive magical energy in the Halls of Remembrance, his cells became active and he awakened after his deathly slumber in the Halls of Remembrance. Yesha upon awaking realizes his powers have greatly decreased and may never return to what they were.
